Former Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, who late last year selected the Democratic party of the Russian Federation, on the next week will present to the public a new movement. As it became known to the edition «Newspaper», the organization will be in opposition to the democratic and non-partisan body. What is the name of the new movement is not yet decided. There are options: «United Democrats» or «Men».
As reported ally of ex-Prime Minister Ivan Starikov, the offer to join the move is made to the former presidential adviser Andrei Illarionov. A response from a former Advisor of the head of state was received yet.
According to Starikov, the new movement will try to unite not only Democrats - opponents of the current political system, but also will try to attract representatives of the class of bureaucracy.
Meanwhile, experts of «Newspaper» expressed skepticism about the possibility of participation of the current bureaucrats in the opposition movement. Former Advisor to the Minister of economic development German Gref Konstantin Remchukov said the two reasons why this idea seems doubtful. «First of all, the bureaucracy is the essence of the current political regime, and it shares the ideology of the authorities - said Remchukov, who left the post after the acquisition of the socio-political newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta. - Second, the most serious and meaningful problem is that no clear agenda by Kasyanov. Around which to unite?» Businessman suggested that the presence in the movement of ex-Premier liberal economist Andrei Illarionov «theoretically possible, though he is not a team player». «But they can unite only one question - democracy, because many economic issues were perceived Illarionov and Kasyanov differently,» says Remchukov.
