All of the data specified on the song-info tab is saved to the song.xml. Most of the fields are mapped to tag (e.g. id3, vorbiscomment) when recording. There is more data that we could add

[edit] License

• specify license for song and for recording
  • in recordings store as : GST_TAG_LICENSE, GST_TAG_LICENSE_URI
  • in songs store in xml tags, eventaully put a file called "LICENSE" into bzt files
• ui
  • select licence from combo, last entry is custom, this enables two text entries for name and url
  • checkbox "same license for recording", if unticked enable 2nd license selector
