Splint

We should decide if we use splint. I think this code checker can help us to develop good code for our project.

If we try to use splint, we should include it to our configure options and generating a make target to check our code with splint.

Generally at good idea, but splint can't parse glib headers (variadic macros). I was trying to use splint in my gitk project and had to give up. I've reported this on the splint mailinglist. The issue has been confirmed, but not resolved so far. The project maintainer do not seem to have substantial time to look at this. ensonic 08:24, 10 Nov 2004 (CET)
